Industrial pipeline in North Georgia does not close on a software calendar

Industrial facility interior with equipment and work lighting

A Hall County or Whitfield County plant that budgets on a June fiscal year will not sign a capital item in May because a CRM says the deal is 'overdue.' The overdue flag is a software opinion. The plant's shutdown window is the real calendar.

When we read industrial pipelines for North Georgia, we ask for the buyer's fiscal year-end and any published shutdown weeks. Those two facts belong on the opportunity record the team already keeps. They do not require a new system.

Q4 for a calendar-year seller is often Q2 for the plant. A regional forecast that ignores that mismatch will look aggressive in October and confused in January. Put the buyer's year on the coverage sheet during a territory walk, then carry it into the forecast review.

Freight and installation slots matter too. A signed order that cannot be delivered until the next available dock week is still a win; it is not this period's billed number. Separate signed from billable when the region reports to operations.
