We forecast the region you already named, then refuse to invent a second geography.
Regional pipeline forecasting only works if the boundary is the one your company already uses in compensation and CRM ownership. This page describes how we treat common Georgia patterns. It is not a coverage boast and not a list of every ZIP we might visit.
North Metro counties
Forsyth, Fulton north of the perimeter, Gwinnett, and Cobb often arrive as ZIP splits plus a named-account overlay. We will not merge those into a single “Atlanta” commit unless your compensation plan already does. Double-counted headquarters are the first pass on every forecast review here.
North Georgia industrial belt
Hall, Jackson, Whitfield, and neighboring plant counties need the buyer’s fiscal year and shutdown weeks on the sheet. A software close date that ignores a June year-end is treated as a note, not as commit.
Coastal and south overlays
When a small team covers a long overlay from Savannah or Brunswick while still reporting to a north-metro rollup, we keep the overlay dollars on one line with one speaker in the meeting. Travel for a walkthrough outside a two-hour drive from Cumming is called out on the quote.
What we will not do on a map
We will not paint counties green to imply field coverage we have not walked. Whitespace means accounts already on your list without an owner, not a purchased universe of every employer in the county. If you need a coverage walk, that is a separate piece of work with its own sheet.
